CUP is an inner city compassionate ministry that works with youth and families in poverty. We are located in a diverse setting that has become a hub for urban missions in the city of Cincinnati, OH. We provide our mission groups with a great opportunity to experience ministry to those in poverty as well as to grow closer to Christ through serving each other. Our groups leave our trips knowing they made a difference and many of their own lives are changed forever because of what God has done during their time here.

What kind of work will we do?
Depending on what time of year you come the work will vary. Groups who come during the summer will participate in leading our Summer of Promise Day Camp for Elementary students. Groups that come during the school year will participate in work projects, community service, and potentially work in our after-school program.

How much does a trip cost and when is payment due?
A non-refundable reservation donation is required upon completion of the Reservation Form to hold your dates. Reservation costs are as follows:
    Day Trip $50
    Weekend – $100
    Week long – $200

A nightly donation of $35 per person per night is appreciated.

Cincinnati Urban Promise Shirts can be purchased for the group for $15 each and we will need your shirt order with sizes 4 weeks before your trip.

Once you decide that you want to work with Cincinnati Urban Promise please use the Get Started Form and request a Group Reservations Form. Then complete and return the form along with all relevant deposits.

    What is the cancellation policy?
All deposits paid are nonrefundable. Deposit may be used for another trip scheduled within 1 year of canceled trip. When a group is cancelled it is not just a financial hardship for the ministry, but it is detrimental to planned programing and activities that were relying on the groups participation. We understand that things happen that are out of the groups control, but this has to be our policy to ensure we keep a good standard of programing and care for our community we serve.

    What is the adult-to-student ratio?
In order to ensure quality programming and a good experience for both parties we must adhere to the following adult to student ratios for all mission groups:

Junior high students will need a ratio of 1 adult per 3 students.
High school students we ask that you have a ratio of 1 adult per every 5 students.

You are always welcome to bring more adults! We do hope to see you this summer!
